About me

I have been serving clients in the Roswell/Alpharetta area since 1996.  I have worked with a wide variety of clients on a range of issues. 

I earned a B.A. in Linguistics and a Master’s degree in teaching from the University of Chicago. I taught elementary school for a few years, then moved into a corporate job in information technology.  I was a senior consultant for an international management consulting firm for seven years, before moving to Atlanta in 1993.  I then returned to school to earn an M.A. in Psychology from Argosy University.

I made the switch from a successful business career to counseling because I care deeply about people and their problems.  I bring my experiences as a teacher, analyst, consultant, and parent, as well as thorough professional training in counseling psychology, to help individuals, couples and families to a better life.
